Custom-built hitch installs easily to your Volvo's frame and will handle the following load ratings:

Class I is rated for 2500 lb. gross trailer weight and 200 lb. tongue weight (1 1/4" receiver) S/V40 2000-04

Class II is rated for 3500 lb. gross trailer weight and 300 lb. tongue weight (1 1/4" receiver) S60/V70, S80

Class III is rated for 5000 lb. gross trailer weight and 500 lb. tongue weight (2" receiver) XC90

Receiver Cap
For 1-1/4" hitches. Plug the opening to help keep debris and water from entering the receiver and also provide a cleaner appearance when the hitch is not in use.

Trailer Tail Light Converter
Used to adapt Volvo's separate turn signal and park lamp design (5 wire) to work with the more common shared versions (4 wire) found on most trailers. This is the easiest and safest way to connect your Volvo's wiring to your trailer wiring. The adapter uses a built-in diode to isolate the turn signal circuits and prevent current from back feeding to the car's tail lights. Takes about 30 minutes to install. Instructions and scotch lock wire taps are included.
