Volvo S90/V90 » CFC Air Mass Meter (MAF) Cleaner

Lately my 1993 850 has started to have a pretty bad drinking problem. Talking to it about its problem was of no help and the counselor said that if it didn't stop drinking so much it would eventually kill itself.

So I had an intervention. Late one evening after arriving home from work, not long after the car had passed out from its heavy drinking. I carefully opened the hood and removed the MAF sensor. Following the directions on the can exactly.

My intervention had worked! The 850 stopped drinking so much! I went from having to fill up every three days to well over a week per tank of gas!

Thinking that these results were only amazing because the 850 has 250K miles I decided to try it on my 2004 S60. The S60 is a very responsible drinker, but even after this treatment, there was a noticeable increase in fuel economy on this vehicle too!

I recommend this product to anyone that has a car with a MAF sensor! Excellent product with excellent results!

I did not buy from IPD, however this stuff works great. When I cleaned both my cars MAF's very well, and plastic part safe. I had an MAF go out on 91 740 on my way to the beach in Bum-f*ck by god WV, tow 40 minutes to Chaleston, leave at dealer, rent car for a week, and had to stop & pickup on way back $$$. Use this stuff. Also, 4 months ago my check engine light came on in my 98 V70 AWD, code P0108 Baro/high pressure came up on the code reader. for about a month I would reset the code & it always came back on a few days later. Figured this wasn't good for my emissions and fuel systems so I got to looking at the altitude sensor causing the problem and noticed that the folks I had bought the car from had sprayed white lithium grease on the hood release catch located in front of the sensor. Took a chance and cleaned the sensor with the CRC MAF cleaner and it did the trick. Also good to clean out if you live in a high pollen environment such as I. No more codes for 3 months now.
