Fuel Filters Changing the fuel filter in modern Volvos is pretty easy due to the use of quick-disconnect fittings.
Simply slide the connector collar away from the filter about half an inch and the line will disconnect.

No worries here. Looked identical to the original fuel filter. Very easy to fit. Probably the easiest DIY job ever.

I replaced my fuel filter today with this one. My car has 155,000 kms on it so it wasn't due for replacement as far as the maintenace schedule goes, but mine was extremely rusty on the outside and would only be a matter of time before it leaked. This is a direct OEM replacement at a fraction of the cost. Took 15 minutes to replace, and that included cleaning up the mounting bracket, the bolt, and the lines. Excellent Bosch product at a fair price. That's why I buy most of my parts from IPD.
