The QBM 93-00 850/V70 Wagon Rear Cross Brace mounts to the 3rd row seat belt mounts, which are reinforced and are the strongest point in the entire rear cargo area. The brace is constructed of heavy-walled tubing that's TIG-welded for strength, and is has a solid one-piece design with no moving joints to flex. The result is a brace that is very effective at improving the chassis rigidity, helping to deliver crisp handling and a more connected feeling with the rear suspension. A must for cars with lowered suspensions and “plus” tire/wheel combinations. The beauty of the brace is that it fits 100% completely under the stock cargo panels, while still allowing full access to the spare tire, rear seats, and all rear cargo areas.
