The Go, No-Go feeler gauge is a favorite of profesional mechanics everywhere. Providing quick and accurate valve lash adjustment via a dual stepped blade is the hallmark of this feeler gauge. As the first thinner part of the blade passes the cam lobe/valve puck it should slide smoothly with little to no resistance, while the second thicker part of the blade should stop without passing. This provides a quick yes or no fit within the 0.016 to 0.018 specification hence the Go, No-Go name.
