IPD Heavy Duty Endlinks Standard front anti-sway bar endlinks are known for their tendency to pop or click when they wear out. ipd's new heavy duty endlinks not only feature a polished ball for lower socket erosion, but also an increased rod diameter to reduce deflection under high load or when running our beefier safety anti-sway bars (12mm diameter vs. 10mm on the stock links). Simple installation into the factory position with no modifications required. Reap the reward of better design and higher performance and save a few bucks compared to the cost of original volvo replacements.
*Priced as each, you will need quantity 2 to do 1 car. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Love them. Just installed on my 2001 V70 XC, quick and easy...and even look great. No more clanging through the potholes, rough roads and off road. Also, the handling is tighter, and the response is crisp. The wife says the car is quiet and smooth again. Thanks IPD!

After reading the previous ratings, I debated whether to spend the additional $$ for the heavy duty endlinks, but I've been happy with IPD and decided to go for it. Unlike one reviewer who took only 10 minutes to change one (he must have a well-equipped garage!), it took me about 30 minutes for the first one and less for the second. I do not have a spring compressor, but I used a floor jack to carefully compress the suspension and it worked great. The nut and stud sizes of the OEM endlink were not the same as the replacements, so you have to have more tools than are outlined in the installation instructions. After installing, all seemed perfect for a short while, then I noticed a knock from one side when on and off the gas. I torqued down the top stud another 1/4 turn and problem solved. I'm glad the annoying sounds are history - though I'll never know if it was worth the extra $$.

Just installed. They seem to work great. Definitely stopped the knocking that worn out links were causing. Does seem to have tightened things up a bit in the handling department.

All I can say is amazing. These look much better than the OEM and cheaper. Very easy to install yet you need to compress your spring. Since I don't have a spring compressor, I used a concrete block and a piece of 2x6. I lowered the car so the strut would compress enough to easily remove the links, then I pumped the jack once to ease the weight on the block. Did the job just fine.
Thanks IPD

When I received them I was impressed with the beefiness and finish on them. Installed these on my 2000 S80 about 2 months ago hoping to cure a knocking sound in my front end. After install the knocking noise continued so I began replacing all front end components until there was nothing left to replace...still clunking. As it turns out, the brand new IPD endlink was defective from the factory and after replacing it with a factory Volvo endlink, the problem was solved. Very disappointed and it cost me HUNDREDS in parts and labor to rebuild a front end that did not need to be rebuilt. Save your money and go with a factory endlink for $20 bucks each rather than $50 each and know that it is machined to higher Volvo standards. They may not be as beefy but clearly there is something to be said for OEM parts.

Just had a pair of these installed on my wife's '01 T5, and what a difference! Steering response is crisper, and the front of the car just feels a bit more solid now. IPD installed them quickly, and the price tag was about 40% less than my Volvo dealership, and for a better product as well. Thanks IPD!

I've had these on my car for about 7 months now and can say they're working great. I replaced my sway bar with IPDs and this was an easy fix to do in addition. The bar is sturdy and strong, the boots are still in great condition and of quality rubber, all parts are beyond spec! Easy fix, easy repair, don't try to skip this fix if you're doing a sway bar change.

I installed these today as a replacement for the original Volvo parts. They are slightly thicker in diameter and were easy to change......maybe 10 minutes per side. Oddly, the old ones only had the upper ball sockets worn......the bottom ones were like new, but that irritating tapping noise is gone on cold mornings.
