Sport Springs (Eibach) After initial testing on applications our main spring supplier (TME) didn't cover, we have been pleased with the performance of the Eibach springs and now stock all of their Volvo applications. The main difference between TME springs and our Eibach applications is that the Eibachs are progressive. Eibach Pro-Kit springs utilize a dual rate progressive design to be as soft as possible while still being as firm as possible. The smooth, softer initial characteristic improves traction and provides comfortable cruising while the sportier and firmer final rate reduces body roll and is more responsive under cornering, braking and accelerating. Eibach springs provide exceptional handling and precise vehicle responsiveness and stability with minimal effect to the ride quality.
*Knowing the ride height of your volvo before and after making modifications is important. Here's how we do it:
- Place your car on a smooth level flat surface, such as a parking lot or garage floor.
- Measure vertically from the center of the wheel to the center of the the wheel opening as show in the picture on the right to eliminate variations due to tire and wheel sizes. Do this at all four corners of the car and record your measurements.
- After installing lowering coils measure again and record the results.
Typically a 3/8" to 1/2" difference side to side is acceptable. If you find that your car is out of this spec, you should check to make sure the springs are properly seated and other parts of the car such as suspension bushings are not the cause. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

Finally got around to installing these. They feel nice on the S60 w/ the Koni combo. Handling is definitely better - flatter thru corners, tighter handling. Vibration in cabin isn't much different (I also have strut bar conversion). Road noise is greater but if you weren't listening for it most people probably wouldn't notice. I live and drive in Atlanta everyday along some of the worst roads in the state and will say that there is some crashing through bumps, and it is worse than stock, but to be honest it's not different enough that you would notice if you weren't looking for it. As far as handling/comfort is concerned I'd say it is medium between stock comfort and sport, with a lean towards the comfort side.
