Pollen Filter

This is an amazing filter, much heavier filter media than the OEM paper filter. Kind of a tight fit, both in width and height, but got it in with minimal effort. The price is amazing compared to the OEM (Behr?) overall a great value. My only concern is the extra density of the filter media may impede airflow and shorten the fan blower life... Does anyone know if the IAQS fan blower is the same as the one without the IAQS?

A looser fit than the OEM version. But for the fraction of the OEM price, I have nothing to complain about.

Fits in the front slot like the oem filter. As mentioned in previous reviews it is a bit
longer than the original but the bottom cover screws back on with no trouble. Great
filter for less than half the price of the oe paper filter!

Got this for the s60r my factory filter was the 1 inch filter in the rear slot (towards the rear of the car) but I bought the 1.5 inch filter and it is really easy to install, all you have to do is cut the tab off of the front slot (towards the front of the car) and slide it right in, make sure you look at the factory filter and how it came out, the curved part goes in first, and re-install the plate. but it works great.

Easy to install, perfect fit in the front slot (as specified by the instructions). Replaced the OEM filter quite easily, and I highly recommend doing this filter change. Increased A/C & heating effectiveness by about 25%. You replace the filter in your home HVAC system, why not replace the one in your car too!

Bought this filter for my '05 S60R. I put this filter in the rear slot (looking from the passenger seat) and it fits perfectly. Excellent product. Installing the filter took me 30 seconds, but the removal of the lower kick panel (to get to the filter) took me a good 30 minutes. Once I removed the plastic door strip, removing the kick panel was easy, just pull it down (not back or forward).

perfect fit, easy instructions (although unnecessary), great product. 10 minute job max. I'd been using Volvo's OEM part before and honestly this is a better product, fraction of the cost, same performance, and it felt more sturdy going in then the old OEM one did.

Be very careful when buying these. My purchase was disappointing.

IPD sell to the international market however they do not specfify whether these pollen filters are for right-hand drive RHD or left-hand drive LHD vehicles.

My first customer support response from IPD was no help. Looks like I will throwing the item in the bin unfortunately.

The filter was a bit longer than the housing (about 1/4 inch), but I was still able to close the cover properly without much trouble. This filter is thicker than the flimsy paper OEM filter which was replaced and the charcoal is a nice added feature. Definitely a great service item, especially at this price!

First of all let me say that this filter works, and it works good. I installed and no less
than 20 seconds later, the air quality was much, much better. The hardest part about
installing is putting the filter back in once the old one is removed; taking out the floor
matt seems to help out in installing. Best price/performance I have seen!
