PIAA Bulbs PIAA bulbs combine Xtreme technology with a high power XTRA halogen bulb for increased performance. This allows the bulb to emit a beam of light that is whiter and brighter than standard bulbs of the same style while using less amperage. PIAA Xtreme bulbs approach the brightness and intensity of High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps at a fraction of the cost.
These bulbs project a nice sharp beam in a cool white / blue hue that reduces eye-strain and improves contrast. They are SAE and DOT certification, and have a 1 year replacement warranty against defects. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

Not impressed with the "brighter" light and the life is at least half of that of the OME, don't waste your money!

Put these on my 2000 XC Wow these are super bright compared with my old stock fog lights and noticably 'whiter' or should I say 'less yellow'. I changed one at a time and was very noticable.
Only thing is that it comes with a long white cord on the end that was tough to manuver to fit inside bulb housing??? But got it to work and very happy with it! Worth the money (cheaper than going HID, chose HID for low beams and these PIAA for high and fogs).

Just as described, these bulbs give off an intensity that is comparable to HIDs. These are much brigter than the stock OEM bulbs I had been using over the years.
