Volvo P1800 » Mounts for Engine & Transmission
 Rubber mounts will deteriorate to the point your engine will come to rest on the cross frame. Signs of fatigue are: excessive shaking of the shift lever (manual transmission cars), knocking or banging sounds when accelerating. If you have oil leaks these will speed the process of breaking down the rubber mounts.
Normally best to replace left and right side engine mounts at the same time. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle.

244/242GT/Turbo with the manual M46 / Overdrive. No more gearbox / tail-shaft
moving around under hard acceleration. Round off one side of the hex so it fits snugly
onto the transmission crossmember.
