Rod and main bearings are replaceable wear items inside your motor. The clearances involved are very small and precise and it’s best to have them inspected by a machine shop whenever disassembled. They should always be replaced when rebuilding, which may require machining and a new size of bearing. Rod knock is due to excess clearance in the rod bearings and machine work is usually required for a proper repair. Our cam bearings are "pre-fit" style and do not require line boring after installation, a major cost and time savings!

Late model bearings and bushings are listed here due to the fact that later engines are often swapped into earlier models.
