Sport Springs (ipd)

With specific applications for sedans and wagons we've designed these springs to have a drop of about 1.75 inch in the front and 1.25 inch in the rear, giving your Volvo a more aggressive stance. The lowered center of gravity and increased spring rate work together to tighten your ride, improve handling and reduce body lean in the corners.

Combine our springs with a set of our ipd Anti-Sway Bars and your suspension is ready to handle whatever the pavement throws your way!

Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle.
Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations.

We offer some products with multiple brand options. Products ending with an "E" suffix indicate Economy (non-OE) brands.

Love these springs and the lowered ride height with greatly improved handling. After some time, however, I noticed uneven wear on my new tires. (Inside front treads)
Conclusion: The springs changed ALL of the suspension geometry to the point where front camber is off a few degrees and the rear is shifted over enough to cause wander. Back to the shop for an adjustable panhard rod and slotting the bolt holes to allow for camber adjustments to the strut tops. Will be installing the sway bars while I'm in there.

Great spring, and looks amazing! But get a buddy, on my 1989 Volvo 740 GLE turbo wagon the front end bolts haven't moved in 19 years. The 1.7 drop in the front looks great!

I just had these installed on my 1990 740GL with 205,000 miles and what a difference it made in handling and appearance of the vehicle! The ride is not harsh at all (from what other volvo owners have talked about in the forums). In my opinion, this is a great investment. If your replacing the struts and shocks, then spend the extra money and buy TME's.

This is the second 740 I've installed these springs on and I can't say enough about the difference in handling and control these provide over the stock units! I've used these on a sedan and now on my wagon and wouldn't consider taking them off for anything.

Awesome improvement in handling in conjunction with the Bilstein shocks. I strongly recommend this product! Changing the rear springs and shocks is so simple! Car handles like it's on rails. 1988 740 Turbo!
