Sport Springs by H&R H&R Sport Springs offer the handling characteristics and aggressive appearance that you’ve been looking for. H&R Sport Springs feature more control and are engineered for the street, making them comfortable and fun to drive. H&R Sport Springs are crafted from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel to ensure quality and performance.
*Knowing the ride height of your volvo before and after making modifications is important. Here's how we do it:
- Place your car on a smooth level flat surface, such as a parking lot or garage floor.
- Measure vertically from the center of the wheel to the center of the the wheel opening as show in the picture on the right to eliminate variations due to tire and wheel sizes. Do this at all four corners of the car and record your measurements.
- After installing lowering coils measure again and record the results.
Typically a 3/8" to 1/2" difference side to side is acceptable. If you find that your car is out of this spec, you should check to make sure the springs are properly seated and other parts of the car such as suspension bushings are not the cause. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

i just finished the spring install, along with believe it or not.... MONROE SENSATRAC shocks and struts. the ride is incredible. it is exactly what i wanted for street and occasional "spirited" cornering .. like most of us do. the springs stiffened the ride enough for flat cornering and the monroes were not as aggressive as some of the higher dollar units resulting in a perfect balance.while i had it apart, i took the chance to install the IPD hd spring seats and rear shock mounts. i also replaced much of the stock hardware (purchased from dealer) such at rear spring retainers, upper rubber seat , and the nuts and bolts all around (about $140 total). also installed the H&R front camber bolts offered by IPD. awesome result all around. i had eibachs on a mustang some years ago and found them to be way too harsh.

great ride. really REALLY nice look! I would recommend these springs with struts as well to get some of the ride back. I started off with just springs to get the look and the ride was rough then i put some koni on great combination. Work well together

Installed along with some Bilstein HD Struts (on front). The change was, in a word, remarkable. Ride stiffened remarkably, and a full inch lower in the front. Corners can now be taken with confidence.
