i underestimated the installation of this product. i have a 98 t5 and over time i guess the shock towers spread apart. i had to drive up on a ramp on side at a time to get the bolt holes to line up to where i could get both sides on.( it seemed like 3 to 4 inches difference from brace to between the towers). but, it does fit.
the car feels more solid now. around short tight turns the car definitely stays more level, but on long sweeping curves you can tell that you are still at the mercy of the shocks and springs that you have on. i would definitely get sport springs to go along with this upgrade. but still worth it. I would like to try the rear sway bars too.

I just installed iPd front strut brace on my 2000 C70 vert. What a difference...just the product I was looking for to get rid of the cowl shake. The front of the vehicle feels a bit tighter, something the car needs. Easy 10 minute install with common hand tools. Thanks iPd for another wonderful product!

installed on my wife's 2003 HPT a few months ago. Wow-very easy to install and
what a difference in drivability - Like a different car! Hugs a winding road much better
and just feels stiffer but not harsh over the bumps. I recommend this easy upgrade to
anyone who owns a 98 - 05 C70.
