IPD Heavy Duty Endlinks Standard front anti-sway bar endlinks are known for their tendency to pop or click when they wear out. ipd's new heavy duty endlinks not only feature a polished ball for lower socket erosion, but also an increased rod diameter to reduce deflection under high load or when running our beefier safety anti-sway bars (12mm diameter vs. 10mm on the stock links). Simple installation into the factory position with no modifications required. Reap the reward of better design and higher performance and save a few bucks compared to the cost of original volvo replacements.

Beefier than stock, but worn out after 2 years.
ipd customer service response: Our HD endlinks have a 5 year warranty to the original purchaser, give us a shout and we will get you taken care of.

Only 3 years old and my stock links were already worn out. Symptoms were clunking on small bumps and slight wandering on the highway.
The new IPD bars fixed both and the stronger construction should make them last.
Installation was simple and almost flawless except for one minor thing to watch. The 16mm flange on the stud was narrower then the stock flange so a wide good quality wrench gets jammed between the sway bar and rubber boot when you tighten it. I did not want to just pull it out in case I would damage the boot. Solution was to go to the dollar store and buy a cheap narrow wrench for the job.

The HD front links are way better than the oem links any day. I broke a stock link on these NYC roads but so far not the HD links.

The OEM product was little difficult for me to remove the old, but install the new ones without a hitch in about three hours. I had to improvise because I did not have all the proper equipment to do this kind of work. It feel better, but I still need more suspension upgrades, i.,e., Koni FSD shock kit and IPD HD upper spring seats. The bushings on the anti-sway bar are deteriorating. Guess I need to upgrade those as well. The instruction are very usefull. Thanks IPD.

These are a great upgrade for the money! If they had lasted longer than stock links they would have! My ipd HD Endlinks was worn out after 5 months and 15.000km! Yes, I drive a lot, mainly on highways, but some trackdays also. Of total 4 joints on 2 endlinks only 1 of them was firm and tight, the other three was loose and totally useless.
Yes, they do a great job as new. Better handling and better response. Considering Volvo used a long time and many years before they came with some endlinks that lasted a bit, this was a huge disapointment. Also that ipd would not send me a new set (Overseas) and offered me a free set on my next order... next order?
I see on the feedbacks here, but I hope other customers don't experience the same as I did. I might got a bad set, or with a production failure I don't know. But for me, right now the Volvo stock links are doing a great job together with the ipd Sway Bars and my Öhlins shocks :o)

This is the most simple and most cost effective mod that you can perform.
The steering is so much more responsive. It feels so solid.
Really easy installation. You will smile knowing you have those sexy blue parts in the
wheel wells.
Don't debate DO THIS!
NOTICE:
If you have some annoying rattling somewhere from the front end it is probably these. Replace them and be happy.

This was an easy install and wow what a difference. I did not even buy the sway bar
kit yet and I feel more stable in turns. I can just imagine how my car will feel after all
the installs are done. This is a great product!

I consider these end links compulsory when you're installing IPD's heavy sway bars.
The stock links simply won't hold up. Worse, they will pass visual inspection but still
be shot, and they can give you fits trying to track down front end creaks and clunks.
Put the beefed-up versions on this morning and the difference is immediate and
impressive. The car rides and handles better, and all the phantom suspension
noises are gone. I'm very happy.
It's worth mentioning that the Volvo dealer will charge you $60 a side for the inferior
stock links, so these are a great deal. Whether or not you're retrofitting sway bars,
put some of these links on your car.

Easy install, original could be bent by hand, not this one, and it even looks sharp.

Wow!! Put them on in ten minutes and the front end is noticeably tighter and more responsive. For an 11 year old V70R that means a lot. Added new Pirelli snow traction 130+ mph rated tires and I was flying down the autobahn over 125 mph in pouring down rain. Keep up the good work IPD!
