Volvo 850 » Brake Rotors (Powerslot)

The slots are designed to channel brake dust and heat away from the rotor and the brake pad. This engineered surface assures highest effectiveness for shorter stopping distances and reliable life.

Power slot rotors come with anti-corrosion silver plating that looks great behind custom alloy wheels. Our new power slot rotors use unique tapered slots that are never machined below the minimum thickness mark. this means you'll have the same thickness rotors that the factory calls for and you'll now have a visual indication of rotor wear.

Customer Product Reviews

****-
1458 Reviewed by Herman Wiegman from Schenectady, NY

I installed these PowerSlot rotors on my 2000 V70 SE with normally aspirated
engine, 5-sp manual, and 130kmi. The calipers and brake pads were replaced at
the same time (OEM calipers, ceramic pads). The instructions from the company
were good and they explained how to prevent warping the rotors. The fitment of
the 11 in. rotors on my brick was pretty good, although I would have preferred
them to fit more snuggly to the hub.
The rotors came with a slight white finish which was worn off the pad surface
during the break in drive. The rotor surface was well honed with a cross hatch
pattern, and the break in drive was uneventful.
After 200 miles the brakes have a very linear deceleration and a nice "buzz saw"
sound under heavy braking.
Snow is coming soon and I'll give an update if there are any drivability issues.
