Automatic Transmission Flush Hose Kit

Automatic Transmission Flush Hose Kit
Did you know that if you drain the automatic transmission fluid by removing the drain plug in the transmission, you are only draining about one third of the total capacity? Now you can flush the entire system in a matter of minutes!

Our kit is simply a five foot length of petroleum-safe hose, plus we include a new clip and o-ring to re-connect the upper transmission line at the radiator trans cooler port. With the included instructions you can safely flush and replace the transmission fluid in about 20 minutes.

Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

ipd does not charge your credit card until the product actually ships from our warehouse.

Useful kit. I have a 2005 xc70 and the provided directions correctly explained I needed to attach the provided hose to the lower transmission line, where it enters the radiator. The lower transmission line is hard to get to and I had to remove some of the underbody plastic. But other than that it was straight forward.

Very easy to use. My car wasn't lagging between park and drive, but was getting a little strained and rough between shifts.

The kit was easy to use and the instructions were very helpful. I would strongly suggest getting snap-ring pliers for reinstalling the metal clip on the transmission hose. I tried using a wide screwdriver to pry the clip open and it ended up being the hardest part of the whole process.

I used 14 qts for the flush, but probably would've been fine flushing just 10 or 12.

The car shifts extremely smooth now!

Useful, but would have been far better if it included the funnel and tube for adding fluid. The job took FOREVER to do because I didn't have any tubing that would properly fit the dipstick tube. For $25, I think the kit could include the $3 part, or at least indicate that it is RECOMMENDED to also purchase.

Otherwise, worked well, and my tranny shifts as well as when I bought the car 45k miles ago.

I found it easier to access lower radiator connection from bottom of vehicle on my 2003 S80 2.9L with GM tranny. Took a fair amount of jiggling to remove pipe and reinsert after draining. I also couldn't get old green clip off but new o-rings came in handy. Had too much fluid thanks to Lucas plugging my pan leak (which solved my slipping problem too, BTW), so took three quarts out and put two back in of Mobile 1 Dextron-equivalent ATF. I'm shifting smoother than ever! Thanks again IPD!

The kit has perfect fit, instructions are clear and easy to follow. The entire process
was quick and easy, the longest part was pouring in the ATF and waiting for it to
drain down into the transmission. Transmission shifts seamlessly, quickly, very
responsive, and no more of that Park-Drive lag in the morning. I ordered the lower
transmission mount while I was at it because mine's a little torn and I trust it will
be a great combination.

Used this flush hose kit on a 2004 S60 2.5T AWD, everything fits perfectly. I went
through 12 quarts of Mobil ATF 3309 for a complete flush. I also recommend
purchasing the funnel & hose, makes adding the fluid a breeze. Thanks IPD!

Great Product!!! Easy to use! From start to finish by my self it took about 25 minutes. I used 19 quart of Valvoline DexronIII/Mercon ATF and then added LUCAS Transmission additive after the flush. There is a noticable differance in how the transmission shifts now. Thanks IPD

Great Kit! I would have spent half a day hunting down all these components... setup
to cleanup took me all of 40 minutes.

Instructions were good but I did have some confusion as to where to connect the
drain hose (this was my first time doing this... don't laugh). I got it figured out and
was on my way. Really easy to do!

I'm pretty sure my tranny had never been flushed (119,000mi.).... It was shifting
funny and unexpectedly. I only had a case of fluid on hand and it never got to the
"new" color during the flush but I immediately noticed a big difference when I took it
out for a drive.

I would HIGHLY recommend having 16qts on hand if this hasn't been done in a
while.

Get the funnel too... It's the perfect size.

Super easy job but I probably could have sourced some clear tubing and the o-rings/plastic connector for half the price. But I saved time by just buying it here! Came in 2-days and I am on the East Coast (USPS priority mail)! Good little kit, good length hose, great instructions. I feel like I could have done this before I knew how to do a motor oil change.

ipd customer service response: The clear tubing is available from many sources but the plastic connectors that Volvo uses are not so easily sourced.

It took me literally 40 minutes from setup/hookup/flush refill with my 8 year old son as my start/stop engine assistant!!!I did as IPD suggested flush at 30k and it took 5 cycles 2qts out/2qts in to get to the bright red "new" 3309. An easy simple quick DIY preventative!
