Volvo 850 » PIAA Bulbs
 PIAA bulbs combine Xtreme technology with a high power XTRA halogen bulb for increased performance. This allows the bulb to emit a beam of light that is whiter and brighter than standard bulbs of the same style while using less amperage. PIAA Xtreme bulbs approach the brightness and intensity of High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps at a fraction of the cost.
These bulbs project a nice sharp beam in a cool white / blue hue that reduces eye-strain and improves contrast. They are SAE and DOT certification, and have a 1 year replacement warranty against defects. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle.

This review is for both the low and high beam.
Two years ago I replaced both the low beam and high beam at the same time, since I have automatic light, (goes on with ignitionturn), I found a significant change from the beginning. The very first night of driving I was blown away by the light pattern. It's not like HID but a very good improvement versus the regular light. Highly recommended if you do a lot of driving, and cheaper than HID.

I have used these bulbs for years on both of my Volvo 960's . . . . sedan & wagon . . . . they are on whenever the car is running . . . . good life and the light pattern on the road is EXCELLENT! Highly recommended!
