Kit was a breeze to install once we got the handle trim off. Took a long skinny screw driver to push on the bottom tabs. Maybe the metal pieces could be pre bent so that they aren't so rounded when you bend then to put them on. Be sure to drill pilot holes in the plastic.

This kit worked really well. Took only about 30 minutes, even working upside down on the open tailgate. Good product.

This is an excellent kit and got rid of most tailgate rattles, not to mention the problem of the entire interior panel coming unfastened when the door is closed. I found using a wide putty knife and screwdriver carefully together is a great way to get the latch trim unclipped without damaging it. As in other reviews, having a drill handy is a good idea for quickly attaching the metal pieces inside the tailgate trim. I also took the opportunity to bang on the tailgate a while to locate any stray rattles inside. I tightened the wiper motor assembly and lubricated the latch mechanism. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. Thanks again IPD, for an awesome solution to a small but irritating issue on my 850!

This repair kit provided all I needed to fix my tailgate interior panel, which broke clean away from the tailgate. It took about 30 minutes, using just a drill (to make pilot holes for the small screws), pliers, hammer (to custom shape the metal brackets) and screwdriver. I had to take the inside handle off, and needed to use a torx tool to take it on and off. Don't forget to replace ALL plastic fastener parts. Since my car is 10 years old, all of the old clips were brittle, even though some still worked. Everything snapped into place, and it is now tight and rattle free!

I don't know why I waited so long to do this. It was so easy. I was able to get the handle trim off easily, one clip broke but I was able to superglue it. Drilling the holes and putting the plates on were a breeze, it took about 15 minutes. Then the tailgate panel just snapped right in. The ride in my V70 is now quiet, finally! Thanks IPD!

I was so happy with this product, mostly because it saved me major money, but also because it was so easy to install. The hardest part was getting the trim around the handle off. I ended up breaking mine and breaking another one at a junk yard. I was able to repair that with superglue. My suggestion is don't do it when it is freezing cold out, because the plastic will break. Instructions were easy to understand and the no more rattling in the back. Thanks iPd!

The kit itself is great. Once I had the panel removed, installation of the kit components is a breeze and they hold great. Unfortunately, removing the interior handle trim is a real pain. Despite a lot of effort, I broke my handle. Two steps forward, one back. Where's the handle trim kit for sale on the website??

I was impressed with the simplistic yet effective design of these clips. They were easy to install, the whole job took less than an hour. Well worth the money. I had no idea there was any kind of repair kit for these until I found them browsing your website. Thanks IPD.
