Boost Gauges & Pods Now you can cleanly install an accurate turbo gauge in your S70 or V70. 850s were equipped with a simple indicator that really didn't provide much information and the 70 series has no boost gauge at all. An accurate boost gauge can provide important information relating to turbo and engine performance.
The ergonomic dashboards in these cars make it difficult to add auxiliary instrumentation. Our exclusive A-pillar mounting pod allows the clean mounting of a gauge on the driver's A-pillar. (The A-pillar is the part of the body that separates the windshield from the side glass.)
The illuminated 52mm vacuum boost gauge is made by VDO and functions well within the operating range of these models. Gauge reads from 30 inches of vacuum to 25 PSI of boost. Instructions and installation hardware are included with gauge pod. Choose from a kit or you can choose the components separately. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

Nice pod and nice accessories. The vaccum line is great and so are the intructions. The fact that it only comes in black is the reason for a "3." I had to try and find paint to match my tan interior, which is pretty difficult. Other than that, nice product.

Not at all satisfied with this tubing kit. I am a Volvo Master Technician, so I thought this would be easy. Not exactly so. The tubing is coiled so tightly in the package that routing it under the dash is like wrestling an alligator. Once you do get it into place, it has several kinks in it from trying to re-coil the entire time. Spent two hours running this tubing into the cabin of my 2000 S70 and ended up throwing it away anyway due to all of the kinks (not very forgiving plastic either). Anyway, hopefully it will work out better for others willing to try it.
P.S. - The price of this kit is also $5 cheaper anywhere else.
ipd customer service response: This kit is provided by VDO. We agree that the tubing is a little difficult to deal with, but most people are able to install this kit without damaging it. ipd does not buy directly from VDO and thus does not get the discount that a high volume VDO discounter gets. We don't even make $5 on this kit. We offer it as a service to our customers.

great product no ifs and or buts quality is great little pricey but well worth it i installed it on my volvo 850 T5R and it was perfect easy to fiberglass mold into a pillar just easy install overall and great shipping rates and if you get a boost controller you have to have this or you will blow your engine i currently run 21 lbs of boost i have 569 hp to the wheel the sucker flies great purchase beats the cheap stuff this is quality it has to be if its from ipd

I was actually expecting the cheaper quality stuff like I was seeing at local part's stores but I was pleasently suprised when I opened the box to see a very nice quality VDO boost gauge looking back at me! Nice... thanks guys! ;)
