Pollen Filter Adapter Kit Some 850 models have a pollen filter, which protects you and your passengers from pollutants and pollen entering your climate controlled environment. A plugged filter will reduce the comfort level and protection to you and your passengers against airborne contaminants. The filter should be replaced about every 20,000 miles for best comfort, however, it depends on conditions in your area. 850 models without a filter can use our replacement element if the factory accessory kit has been installed. Its always best to see if your car has been equipped with a pollen filter. If it hasn't we offer a filter adapter #88525, that works great with filter #9171296. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.
