Spark Plugs Sets (Volvo)

Got these plugs from the dealer because I needed them right away and paid twice as much, (30 bucks). I did a tune up about a three weeks ago and had ordered the tune up kit with the Denso Iridium plugs for a non-turbo 98 S70. I was having stumbles and stalls about a week later. The car left me stranded a few times not to mention how much I missed out on work and having to bum rides. Took the car to the dealer and three other Volvo specialists. Nobody could figure it out. Possible mass air, O2s , temp sensor, knock sensor, cam sensor, idle control sensor, vacuum pumps, vacuum hoses, shift lock micro switch, ignition switch, fuel pump, air pump, ECU, wiring, fuel injectors, whole new car, and no check engine light even came on. I went around and around with this car. I even got to the point to trade the car for some American junk, just to get away from the problem. So I went to the dealer and came home with factory plugs which were very impressive looking. Changed them out for the 15 dollar Iridiums. The car was like new again, unbelievable. Can't stop kicking myself. IPD needs to state this, at least for the no-turbo Volvos. Now I'm stuck with five 15 dollar paper weights. Go figure, don't make the same mistake I did. Use factory parts as much as possible. There is a reason it came like that from the factory. I'm sure Volvo put countless hours of testing into the right plugs and parts.

I have used the #8692071 plugs in both of Volvo's ('98 S70 T5 and '04 V70 2.5T) with consistently great results. I have read other's reviews of other plugs giving them fits but never a hiccup with these. Just make sure to check the plug gap...they aren't always consistent out of the package.
