Volvo 850 » Tailgate Panel Repair Kit
 If you own an 850 or 70 series Volvo wagon, there's a good chance that the interior tailgate panel is breaking away from the tailgate. This common problem is caused by repeated slamming of the tailgate which causes the mounting clips to fail.

Get it done and over with! Took this bike mechanic about 20 minutes to complete. The
only thing not in the directions you'll want to have handy is a drill to get some holes
for the screws to go into the plastic. Easy!

Can't believe I waited so long to do this... follow instructions and it is maybe a hour job. I'm between a 1 and 2 skill level, so don't wait, do it ASAP..

A must for the loose hatch panel. Not to hard if you follow the directions. The kit has held up for the last five years too.

This repair kit is well worth the $16!!!
The install was easy, only hassle was separating the handle from its other half, I pulled down the top of the loose panel and released the clips from the handle with a screw driver.
Everything else was easy as can be and the panel is now "tight like a tiger" good as new or better.

Simple, clear instructions. Took the metal standoff bracket installation a step further & secured with epoxy as well as the screws. The panel's back on & tight!

I had tried new clips from the dealership and that didn't fix the flapping tailgate problem. I installed the Tailgate panel Repair kit in about 30 minutes and that was about a year ago and it still works. Nice Product
