worth every penny! my old mount was almost completely worn out, but i never really bothered to change it until i could tell my engine was rocking around and my acceleration was taking a hit because of it. took me and a friend 10 minutes to put in, and instantly i could feel the difference. acceleration was worlds better. if your mount looks like it's wearing out, do yourself a favor and get one of these.

This product made a huge difference on the way I experience driving my 2004 V70. Upon installation and on my first drive test, I noticed the vibration increased very considerably, although shifting and initial engine response was extremely improved. I decided to experiment with some physics. I loosened the bolts of the Mount assembly again, put transmission in Drive, engaged the parking brakes, made sure I blocked the rear wheels for safety and then tightened the bolts again, while transmission in Drive What a difference! Vibrations are gone and retained the benefits described above.

The absolute correct replacement for the old rubber bushing. It's very easy to remove the worn rubber bushing if you have an air hammer chisel - pops right out! Found the new one was easy to install.

I installed this tonight on my '05 S60R. It was very simple (less than 30 mins) and made a massive improvement in shift quality. If there is additional vibration, I cannot tell. Two tips:
- I have two full sets of Craftsman sockets (deep and shallow) neither has an 18 mm, I used an 18 box wrench to remove, but needed a socket for torquing - The two smaller bolts have thread lock on them, but you should put new on to reinstall
Bottom line-another quality IPD product that will markedly improve shifting

I was very pleased with how easy this was to install, given I have never attempted this before. The hardest part was removing the old mount. Cheers

After 117,000 miles it was time to change the lower front mount for preventative reasons. The replacement part looks as solid as the OEM which has not broken/collapsed yet. The trick to removing the old mount is to remove the 14mm bolts first, jack up the engine as high as it can and then remove the 17mm bolts. You will need a breakerbar, a short ratchet probably won't work. Have fun, it only took 20 minutes to install.

When my 95 850GLT broke the lower mount, I just went to a junkyard. That car had 200k+ miles on it and the bushings were fine. My 04 S60R has 48k and the bushing is trashed, both big and small. I only bought the big bushing, not realizing until i changed it out that the smaller half was shot too. But even with the smaller half soft, it still feels better than it did.
So now, I'll just buy the whole unit, and have 2 mounts: one blue for daily driving, and one black for the track. Done.
