Euro Side Marker Lights Adding visibility to your Volvo is easy with original European Volvo turn signal indicators. The mounting hole is already stamped into the fender so there is no drilling required. All you have to do is remove the Volvo emblem and adhesive on the fender and you’ll find the odd shaped hole that was originally intended to accept these nifty European turn signal indicators. Very simple two-wire hookup using the wiring kit below. Come with amber bulbs. Detailed instructions are included. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

These look really great, certainly better than the stock ones my car had which had
filled themselves with water anyway. The build quality isn't quite OEM and they have a
couple rough edges, but look perfect from an arm's length. If you're converting from
stock side markers, use the bulb-holding backs from those instead; the ones in these
are rubbish- the contact pins bent and pushed into the housing when i tried to plug
them into the connector.

1986 245. The 9145 comes with 1/8" foam gasket. With the plastic retaining spring, there wasn't a positive 'snap' holding the fixture into the hole in the fender. This was after filing about 1/16" off the hole as suggested. I didn't like the way the light stuck out from the fender due to the 1/8" foam gasket. I tore it off, cut a cork-rubber gasket from 1/16" material, and used some black Permatex RTV on the gasket. Now it sets flush with the fender and it's more secure. Overall, a simple install. Just use tap-and-splice connectors. I did add about 4" length to the wires.

Stupidly easy to install. Everything is included and everything is ready to go. If you can't install this kit, you probably shouldn't be driving a car.

We added the Euro Side Marker Lights to our son's 1989 745 Turbo a number of years ago. The instructions provided made the installation simple He decided to use them as a combination turn signal and side marker. When the turn signals are not in use they are illuminated and significantly increase the night-time visibility of the car.
