Volvo 700 » Remote Starter Switch
A great tool to speed along valve adjustment is the remote starter switch. By connecting it to the battery + post and the red wire on the service connector under the hood you can manually 'bump' the starter over to close each of the valves prior to adjustment. Please note that if using this tool on a standard transmission, be sure the vehicle is in neutral, the emergency brake is set, and the wheels are blocked.
