Ignition Distributor If your engine is has over 200,000 miles on the distributor, it may be ready for freshening or replacement. Common problems are: seals leaking allowing oil to start dripping out of the distributor unit, and sporatic start/stall problems from a bad Hall effect switch. If the shaft is getting too loose in the housing or the Hall switch needs replacement it may be better to replace the distributor as a whole. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.
