Carb Synchronizer Tool Our German made Syncrometer takes carb balancing into the 21st century with an easy to read calibrated scale. The rubber adapter ensures an airtight fit for accuracy everytime. Will also work to set a synchronized fast-idle setting for wen the choke is pulled.
In the early days the recommended method was to use a section of hose to listen at the mouth of the carb. The idea was to adjust each carburetor so the sound to your ear was the same for each carb. With practice it is possible to be quite accurate, but it does take practice. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.
