Brake Caliper/Drum Paint Kit Keeping your car looking its best is often ruined by rusty and dusty brake calipers or brake drums showing through your alloy wheels. Restore or accentuate calipers to a better than new look. Restore them by using either the black or silver kits. For a sportier look, use the red kit.
Each kit contains two-part epoxy paint, step by step instructions, paint brush, and a can of brake cleaner to prep the surface before painting. (Each kit will do at least four normal sized automotive calipers).
The high temp finish seals and protects the calipers, is oil and chemical resistant and, because of the gloss finish, it will be easier to clean accumulated brake dust from the smooth calipers (or drums). Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

did the painting today. the kit is well worth it. you will see other techniques on forums such as spraying, but there is no beating applying by brush with this paint. you have to be prepared to take your time with the prep work , but the result is worth it. i used a second can of cleaner with wire brush just to make sure. there is enough paint for several coats and i still had left over. when it dries, you are left with a finish that looks like the calipers were dipped in powder coat. i "flowed" the coats on like you would do varnish and the result was perfect. highly recommended.

I have used both the silver and black on two different cars. Comes with a cleaner that is key. This is an epoxy paint and you need to paint all calipers at once so car needs to be on jack stands. It gives a hard high gloss finish.
