Great product. Use patiants if you need to drill. It took less then 1 hr to install.
Its very important that you torque all the fasteners to 20lbft, or you'll have noises coming from under your feet. ;)
I am very happy with them, hard braking is met with less nose dive. I installed the upper CHASSIS (not strut tower) brace along with these and love the added stiffness to the chassis. Rough roads, speed bump, and driveway curbs feel have been all smoothed out by this upgrade. Aside from Turbo swaybars, my 245 has a fully stock suspension. Even is you're not going to all out performance, these are great for making any road easier to drive on. Road noise has been cut down alot too, due to the chassis not flexing with every bump or uneven surface.

This is SUCH a winning combo for the money!(and they CHEAP TOO!)YES i installed the sway bars and hi/po shocks.As well as the overload springs in the back and some Volvo R sport springs in the front that i got on eBay.
This combination of upper and lower braces improved the steering feel and response.The steering is now sharper and gives better feedback,especially when cornering hard.
I cannot recommend this combo highly enough.ESPECIALLY when used with the sway bars,stiffer shocks and springs and larger wheel/tire combo(i have the 15" Virgo turbo wheels for my 91 244)
NOTE:While the upper braces simply bolt on.The lower braces require drilling through thick metal.

I installed this brace in conjunction with Bilstien HDs as well as the 25/23 sway bar
kit. This brace does its designed function, but I would not describe it as incredibly
strong.

ipd customer service response: I would agree that our product marketing copy describing this brace as "incredibly strong" is little strange. Strut towers usually flex toward or away from each other depending on the load situation. This brace greatly reduces the strut tower flexing action. It does what it is designed to do very well. -Kevin

I did things in the wrong order, so I still need to put on new struts. But with this kit and the anti-sway bars the only sway is undeniably from the shocks. Virtually eliminates roll! My wagon handles like a (heavy) coupe! I can't write enough about how much joy all these modifications have added to my drive.
