Volvo 200 » Sport Exhaust for non-turbo models
 Using components from the Volvo 240 turbo and some custom parts from ipd, we’ve put together a package that delivers a five to six HP performance increase you can feel with a pleasant, deep exhaust note (not too loud). This system uses 2-1/4” pipe and a single rear turbo muffler vs. the two mufflers and 2” pipe on the stock system. Includes everything needed to install, including our custom adapter, hangers and instructions. (Fits in the original location, starts where original front muffler connects.) Ken sold me this system along with a CAT for my 91 244 about five or six years ago and i am VERY happy with it!!It DOES give that increase in power as advertised.However if you REALLY want to take advantage of the increased power,do as i did and take Ken's advice about installing the in tank pre pump sending unit from the 740 turbo.When the engine makes more power it needs more fuel.Installing that Pre pump made a HUGE difference.Now instead of my car just revving up and EVENTUALLY going faster.IT MOVES!

Sounds great IPD thank you for making this kit easy to install in about a hour with simple hand tools . with a new ipd headpipe and this kit it's like a new car! 88' 245DL

Installed this a year ago to replace what fell off on the way to work. Has a deeper but very bearable tone to it. The added responsiveness is a welcome improvement as well.

I love the exhaust system!! It took me by myself about an hour and a half to install from head pipe to tail pipe. It has a nice rumble not too loud and it seems not to get too loud. Better performance noticed!!!

This was the 1st upgrade I did to my 83 245DL. Easy install in my garage. Wow what a difference in sound and perforamnce. It's been trouble free for the past 7yrs now.

Nice upgrade,to loud for a wagon and needs more support hangers to provide more stability for a five speed. gets annoying loud at 75 mph

I love mine. Turns the sound of your volvo from a sputtering grocery getter to a rumbling throaty well-tuned machine. You really feel the performance change too. It was a fun project to accomplish in an afternoon.

This exhaust replaced my rusted out original exhaust and added a sweet little rumble that sounds way better than the original. And I can definitely notice the added performance.
Awesome deal if u already have to replace your exhaust or just looking for an upgrade and for just 30 bucks more. It's well worth it.

A great exhaust system. Noticably smoother/stronger acceleration, and a very nice, deep rumble that is more muscle, less loud noise.
