Boost Actuator IPD's new boost actuator endows the factory turbo with a more solid boost response while ensuring boost is maintained at a preset level, resulting in increased torque and HP. Where the factory actuator drops boost as the revs rise, the IPD actuator delivers constant boost all the way to redline and beyond. A safe, reliable and effective means of raising your boost level.

Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

The actuater works just fine, however the nuts from factory, which you are supposed to use for this one are different sizes for the 940SE's. The only problem with that is the arm, but with a tap and die set you can reduce the threads slightly to make the arm fit and pick up a few bolts for under a dollar. Still an awesome product.

This actuator is a great addition to the xv cam and cam advance I purchased from ipd a few years ago. EZ to install and adjust. I highly recommend it to any turbo owner
