Air Filters (K&N) This filter has an international reputation for effective service under the most grueling conditions. Patented design utilizes surgical cotton in multi-layers, oiled and sandwiched between wire mesh. K&N filters not only clean the air, but also straighten the airflow. Your engine is provided with a less turbulent air stream than other popular filtering mediums (like paper and foam.) Under normal conditions cleaning and re-oiling is not required until 50,000 miles (without loss of efficiency!). Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. This a name that is know for its great product and it delivers. I put one in my 93' 240
wagon and I noticed the difference as soon as I turned the key.

I put one of these in the airbox of my '91 245, and it really seemed to wake the car up. My stock paper filter was very dirty, mind you, but the K&N is certainly worth the money. Never need another filter, and the performance enhancement was great!
