Door Pocket Covers If the door pockets in your Volvo are broken, we don't have to tell you how unsightly and irritating they can be. Repair and reinforce them with ipd covers at about half the price of original equipment. The flexible cover fits snugly into place much like our plastic dashboard covers. A silicone adhesive (included) holds the cover firm.
The pocket cover reinforces Volvo's original design which has a tendency to break when the door is opened with your foot or forced shut against oversized packages. It's a less expensive alternative to replacing the entire pocket and helps prevent future pocket breakage.
Cover fits on pockets that are broken or have missing pieces. However, If the attachment parts of the original pocket are missing, we advise installing a new pocket first. When properly installed, you can hardly tell the cover from the original. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

Poor fit on my 1991 240 wagon. Very disappointed because they look good out of the box - tan color is nice match, grain is soft but looks easily blends well enough. The fit is off enough to make it impossible to snap on and glue. Trying to make it fit on is a sure way to crack the original pocket even more. I wish they would offer a replacement pocket that is attachable to the door out of a plastic that is sturdier than original. Probably not even possible... These covers are not attachable by themselves which just seems kind of dumb. I like IPD a lot, but I am not a fan of these covers.
ipd customer service response: We also provide full replacement OEM door pockets as an alternative to just the covers. If there is a manufacturing defect with the part give us a call and we can help out.

Don't waste your money. Very poor fit, much worse than the driver's side. I had to use 6 clamps while the glue dried to even get it close.

Use Gorilla Glue to attach the door pocket covers. It really adheres. We tried silicon, but it didn’t work.
