Hose clamps look pretty simple but there is a definite difference in quality of clamps, and the security they offer. ABA clamps are unique in that the 'teeth' that the worm gear engages is not punched all the way through the stainless steel band. This prevents the 'cheese grater' effect on hoses, and leads to extended hose life. Used as original equipment by Volvo.
ABA's Original clamps feature an extra strong one-piece pressed housing, rolled-up band edges and a smooth band underside that protects the hose. For added corrosion resistance the band in the 12 mm width standard is made of Aluzinc which provides three times the protection offered by conventional galvanised steel.
