Perhaps the easiest item I have installed on my Volvo's (3), in less than 5 minutes. Before ordering I suggest checking the retaining clips to see if you need to replace them. One the clips on my 1985 250 was broken; a simple fix. Thanks IPD for providing this product at about half the price that Volvo charges.

Installed in a matter of minutes!! I was worried about having to compress them for installation, but they slipped right on with the tailgate all the way up. It was so easy, and these supports were about half the price of everything else I found online. No more asking my nine year old to hold up the tailgate when the temperature drops during Montana winters.
