Header Pipe Head pipes tend to be long lived due to the high temperature of exhaust gases passing through. This prevents moisture collecting in the pipe and rusting it from the inside-out. As years pass, and especially where road 'salt' is used, head pipes will eventually fail. We offer good quality, reasonably priced head pipes to restore your Volvo to its quiet form. 1989-91 models require chassis number (last 6 digits of the VIN) to correctly identify the replacement pipe. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

great direct fit took 1/2 hour to remove and replace the old paper thin road rash'd header that my mufflerman laughed at me when i asked him to fix a leak .The 1988 245 sound's great thank you IPD.
