Air Intake Hose The plastic intake hose, located between the air mass meter and the throttle body, is often overlooked. It's easy to miss a failed hose because the hose chafes against the inner fender and rubs through in an area that is not visible without removal. When doing a tune up, always check the hose by moving it away from the fender to inspect the ribs. You will see if the ribs are chafed through by flexing the hose away from you. Replace the hose if necessary, and prevent future chafing by using a putty like butyl to insulate the hose from the fender. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

good product, but seems a bit tight of a fit on the intake manifold of my 83' 244.

great replacement previous owner "kid's" had hack'd it all up and broke one of the nipple's to put in a very bad high flow air cleaner. thank you IPD for the new one!
