Volvo 200 » 25 PSI Boost Gauge

Not at all satisfied with this tubing kit. I am a Volvo Master Technician, so I thought this would be easy. Not exactly so. The tubing is coiled so tightly in the package that routing it under the dash is like wrestling an alligator. Once you do get it into place, it has several kinks in it from trying to re-coil the entire time. Spent two hours running this tubing into the cabin of my 2000 S70 and ended up throwing it away anyway due to all of the kinks (not very forgiving plastic either). Anyway, hopefully it will work out better for others willing to try it.

P.S. - The price of this kit is also $5 cheaper anywhere else.

We agree that the tubing is a little difficult to deal with, but most people are able to install this kit without damaging it. ipd does not buy directly from VDO and thus does not get the discount that a high volume VDO discounter gets. We don't even make $5 on this kit. We offer it as a service to our customers.

I was actually expecting the cheaper quality stuff like I was seeing at local part's stores but I was pleasently suprised when I opened the box to see a very nice quality VDO boost gauge looking back at me! Nice... thanks guys! ;)
