A few years back one of our employees would take the IPD letters that were left over from the laser cut outs on our aluminum skid plates and create emblems by rounding the edges and polishing each piece. They were completed with two sided tape to adhere to the back of our own project vehicles. We received many calls from customers who wanted a set for their own Volvo. The amount of time that was spent polishing each letter was not cost effective for us to sell.
We now have a self adhesive, chromed plastic domed emblem that looks exactly like the aluminum cut outs, yet affordable. This emblem is commonly placed on the trunk lid, tailgate, or on the fronte grille. Emblem measures 1" x 3" and is scaled to the stock emblems found on most Volvos.
