Spoiler Air Dam Uncontrolled air movement can prevent you from achieving best fuel efficiency, road stability and speed. Air dams and spoilers force air up, or out, of the underside and over and around your Volvo. This means minimized crosswind buffeting, quickened response to driver inputs, and improvement of road stability.
Please Note! A word about our vintage fiberglass Air Dams and Spoilers. We had discontinued these air dams in the late 80's as sales no longer supported the cost to rebuild the molds. Vintage Volvo enthusiasts urged us to re-introduce them "as-is" is since there are no other alternatives. These are not what we consider “first quality” parts. They are from the original molds and although they are structurally sound, they do have cosmetic blemishes. Also, it is not uncommon to have small gaps between the spoiler and the body of the car. This is not due to the old molds. The lower valance panels are prone to being damaged and even though yours may look fine, it may no longer have the same profile as when it was new. Generally these gaps can be "sucked up" with careful alignment during installation Please note that these are special order items and take 4-6 weeks for delivery. Holes must be drilled. Mounting hardware is NOT included. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle. Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations. The products listed on our website are for Volvos sold in the North American market. Many of the parts are exactly the same as those used in other markets, however we cannot guarantee fitment for those markets.

Placed this item on my 144 this past weekend. A bit tricky to install, but once it is on, the difference is profound. At 70mph, there is a rock solid feel to the front end. I am doing mileage tests now.

Looks identical to the ones I have onmy '67 coupe and '72 ES wagon. They work! It is surprising how much they positively affect the car, especially in windy conditions. They also look great! Check the application, and be prepared for a little trial and error getting everything bolted down with no air gaps. I used a bunch of clamps to get it positioned, then drilled and bolted them in. Oh yes - have them painted to match before installation!
