Proper ignition timing is critical to achieve peak performance and fuel economy. A timing light is the easiest way to fine tune your car’s ignition system. With most high performance upgrades it’s essential to recheck the timing and adjust it to the required specifications for proper running.
A great example is the Weber kit we sell which requires a timing adjustment to run its best. This timing light works on all 12 volt negative ground systems with points or electronic ignition and even on the direct ignition cars. We recommend this light for all cars up to 1988 and all turbo models up to 1989. Inductive means the wire pickup clips onto the outside of the number one plug wire.
