Alloy Valve Cover

A beautiful alloy valve cover that not only enhances the appearance of your car’s engine, it reduces tappet noise and dissipates heat faster than the original.

Made of cast aluminum, this cover is finished in a tough, textured black with machine surfaced ribs. Fits all B18 and B20 engines. The cover is designed to use the original Volvo filler cap.

Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle.
Some products may include or exclude some model years or engine and transmission combinations.

We offer some products with multiple brand options. Products ending with an "E" suffix indicate Economy (non-OE) brands.

Noise reduction wasn't a night-and-day difference. But this cover,
besides its looks, offers one big advantage: it's SO much easier to make
it oil-tight! Since this cover doesn't flex like the stock one, torquing the
valve cover gasket evenly is a whole lot easier and leaks become a thing
of the past. Keeping the oil off of everything was well worth the price of
admission.

One of the best things I ever added to my 67 122. With a valve adjustment & this new valve cover that engine purrs like a kitten, I could not believe the noise reduction. I am very pleased. Thanks again

Hard to imagine a Volvo without an IPD valve cover! I have one on my '67 P1800Sand my '72 1800ES and they dress up the entire engine compartment. As a side benefit, makes me want to keep things looking clean in the engine compartment, and I find myself finding and fixing those little leaks before they become anything serious. Can't beat the look of it!
