Uncontrolled air movement can prevent you from achieving best fuel efficiency, road stability and speed. An air dam will help drive more air through you radiator by deflecting air up and by causing a negative pressure area behind it. This means crosswind buffeting is reduced and your Volvo is more stable at freeway speeds.
Our 122 air dam requires the bumper to be removed, and is meant to be used mostly in racing or competition events. Fiberglass construction with brake duct indentations and a black gel coat finish. It is not a "first quality" item, in that it is from our original molds which have developed surface imperfections over their 30 plus years. A little sanding and prep work before painting, and they look great. Holes will need to be drilled in air dam and car to mount it. Fasteners are not included. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery, as these are special order items.
