Volvo 122 » Dome Light

It's dark outside. You enter the car and you expect to be able to see what is inside. Sort of like your refrigerator. When it doesn't work you fumble for the ignition slot and seat belts. Sometimes the door switch has lost its ground and cleaning it works great. Other times the dome light assembly has a broken switch which cannot be repaired so replacement is the answer. These old lights usually last a long time, but like anything else, they wear out eventually. If your dome light isn't working, first try a new bulb. If it still won't work, it's probably time for a new light.
